A quick rundown of Fall trends!
Thanks to Style.com for images!
Metallic berry eyes and deep navy eyeliner. A fresh take on the smoky eye.
Lush wine lips with minimalist eyes.

Tempting the smoky eye/black eyeliner look without going over the top!

Big bags are in this fall. Get yours out of storage or get one!

One hair trend is definitely Asymmetrical, whether your hair is long or short!

The strong, but well-groomed brow is back. No more thin tweezing.

Plaid is everywhere. Love these red tartan heels…

A strong, sexy smoky eye.

Heavy bangs are hot.

Pops of bright color are everywhere. Eyes included!

The neutral face is alive and well, but sculpted and rich with muted color.

Yummy pink lips liven up Fall. Great to pair with Fall’s gem tone palette.

Brightly colored shoes, tights, belts and accessories reign!

Blue eyeshadow and liner is still tops.

Have fun this fall ladies… this season is not your typical earth tones and drab transition to winter. It’s a celebration of color!
Just what we love around here…

All the looks are so easy to duplicate using Aromaleigh…. I just love the metallic berry eyes.
I got a laugh over the size difference of the huge bag vs the model’s tiny feet!
I know, there’s tons of metallic looks for this fall that are a dream to recreate with the Elemental lustres.
I just got a huge bag… unfortunately, I think it is probably well proportioned to my big feet (which just got a half size bigger this year, strangely enough!)

Thanks for all the pics, Miss K! Fun pictures for inspiration
Yay, I love color! Usually I don’t like fall/winter clothes because the colors are so drab, dark, and boring (it my opinion, of course!) but if brighter colors are in style this year, I will be much happier! Snuggling up in a big warm sweater in a bright happy color makes me smile!
I also love that metallic berry with navy eye look — I might have to try that on our next date night (or maybe I can figure out a toned-down version for work? Hmmm…..)
Never been a fan of the huge bags since they look disprotionate with my figure. I prefer a more medium size myself — big enough to hold all my junk, but not so big that it looks like my bag could eat me alive
I crawl into my big bag and nap when I am tired. Ha.
I’m ok with big bags since I always wear heels that average 4″. Tack that on to my 5′7 and I’m always around 6″ tall… so I have no problem with bigger bags. And I’ve got to have something to hold my laptop, my blackberry, my camera, my wallet, my makeup bag, my pashmina, a bottle of water, and numerous other assorted garbage I always seem to be hauling!
In fall and winter I usually wear red, pink and purple as my colors, in spring and summer I love coral and teal- I know you love those colors too!
gorgeous pics! as everyone knows i’m a huge fan of colorful, metallic, smoky eyes and deeply stained lips. dramatic but extremely wearable. there’s a perfect berry shade for everyone!
i’m also thrilled that color will be sticking around… i esp love the fabulous crimson, golds and bright (but muted) pumpkin shades that are extremely popular right now. other great stuff: satin, patent leather (faux), oxford, & mary jane pumps; beautifully tailored suit seperates & dress coats (thank god the 80’s influence doesn’t include shoulder pads!); floor length skirts & dresses; higher waisted pants (if you need a bikini wax to wear a pair of jeans they are TOO LOW!); fun, colorful, and/or textured stockings. i have a feeling i’ll be spending way too much money on clothes in the next few months. guess it’s time to pull out the ol’ sewing machine.
I love it when you do these trend reports. You do all the work for us! Teehee.
Oh MY – those plaid shoes are to die for!
What AL lip product is closest to the one pictured in “Lush wine lips with minimalist eyes”?
Che- not meaning to answer for Miss K, since she is the authority, but to me, I would use Fling for the wine lips. I think it is the darkest opaque wine colour available. That is my opinion based on having all the botanical lipsticks
Are any of these kids even 18? Would nice to see some examples on women who are actually the age of your target market…not to mentio the buyers.
There are hundreds of images of real Aromaleigh customers wearing Aromaleigh makeup on the Aromaleigh website (one of the most extensive collections I have ever seen on any website owned by a small, woman owned company!)- they are frequently featured in this blog.
Shame on me for having a little fun here and there and using high fashion images such as those used in (gasp) fashion magazines that we ALL read…
Let me go give myself a little spanking. Where’s my ruler. I like it to hurt, especially when I’m being scolded. Why do people so freely feel that they can come on my blog and be snarky and rude to me? I mean, what did I do to them? Oh. Give freely of time I don’t have and try to provide a nice service. That’s what.
I’m so exhausted with rude people. And I love how Elorra claims to be a visionary who knows my target market. I actually sell to tons of young girls.
Sheesh.
Thanks for posting these pics, Miss K. They are always an inspiration. Sometimes I get set into a pattern, and these usually help me break out of that a bit
You’re very welcome mb- I love looking through all of the images at style.com, even though it can be a lot of work! I love fashion, so I do get something out of it personally and I like to share what I find.

Who cares how old they are? What is the problem here exactly?Theyre fashion models… it’s not Miss K’s job to make sure they are a certain age hehe. And target market? As far as I can see the target market here is people who want to have fun with pretty colours and minerals… ack
Exactly. It’s all makeup, just fun. Fashion and pretty girls. I personally get tired of looking at my aging skin and face and love to look at fashion mags and sites and remember the good ‘ol days… LOL! It doesn’t make me feel bad… it brightens me up and makes me spiff myself up a little bit. Try some dark eyeliner or get out that plaid skirt… or consider cutting bangs. Or wearing pink lipstick. I know I don’t look 18 anymore. Heck, I don’t want to look like I did when I was 18!
We’re all supposed to extrapolate what we might want to from fashion, which is a step away from fantasy. For those who can’t, please don’t open a fashion magazine ever… and when you read a beauty blog, don’t shoot the messenger.
gosh, i never even thought about their age! just about what AL products could replicate those gorgeous looks… or make them even better! it’s not like you are personally excluding older women! sheesh! i’m certainly older than 18 and i’m inspired. guess some people can’t look past that. even when you have an entire gallery of women of all ages!
Love the tartan heels. Who is the designer??
