Flowers and shoes, oh my!
Two of my favorite things… and combined!
These images of shoes are actually three-dimensional shoe “objects” MADE of flowers, leaves and other botanical parts. As beautiful as they are, these shoes aren’t made for walkin’…
Photographer Michel Tcherevkoff’s “Shoe Fleur, A Footwear Fantasy” will be on display in Paris’ Le Bon Marché from June to August 2008. “Shoe Fleur” the book, is available for all of you who must have the coffee table version.
(cool and slightly relevant side note: in 1994 when I was with Saatchi & Saatchi, I was the Art Director on a project for Kodak’s Digital Photography division featuring Tcherevkoff’s images- this work is a radical, gorgeous and extremely feminine change from that time period!)
very cool! i’m off to get the book…
thanks for posting this, Miss K
Wow. These shoes are beautiful and clever. I don’t know what else to say other than, “Love ‘em!”
