Rockin’ May Day Gift to All…

When the Rocks! Sonic Cosmetics line came out in late December of 2005, it was one of the very first brightly colored/vivid/high impact pigment lines available amongst the “Indie” cosmetic companies.

In fact, I was pretty much declared to be crazy and what I was doing was highly questioned on some of the mineral makeup forums and a lot of women said that they were “uncomfortable” with the line and proclaimed, “who on earth is she trying to sell these products to???”. The line caused quite a stir, but it was the result of years of customer requests for brighter colors and something that I was determined would eventually “stick”. And stuck it has.

It’s funny how things go, because so many Indie companies have followed suit and started producing their own high-impact pigment lines, glittery pigments, multi-dimensional pigments… you name it. It’s no longer a beige and buff and taupe mineral world. Color is HUGE in the cosmetics world now. New “pigment” companies are opening up rapidly (the “mineral” moniker has been entirely left behind for a lot of companies, as the word “pigment” is a buzz word right now!) and the prices that I originally put on the Rocks! line when it was unique to the mineral world are now a higher price point than I would like them to be. Due to the popularity of the line, we are producing Rocks! in larger batches and I am able to source my pigments for Rocks! in larger quantities and pass this savings on to you.

So I have reduced the pricing on Rocks Sonic Eyes!, Rocks! Glam Glitters! and Rocks! Sonic Rouge as of this morning, 5/1/08. This pricing is effective on all orders placed from here on. I cannot apply it to previously placed orders.

Rocks Sonic Eyes were previously $7.50. They are now $6.50. Samples have also been reduced.

Rocks Glam Glitter were previously $6.25. They are now $5.25. Samples have also been reduced.

Rocks Sonic Rouge were previously $9.25. They are now $8.25. Samples have also been reduced.
