Tokyo Fashion Week- Gothic Lolita Eye Collection Inspiration! April 15, 2008

We have New York Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. We even have Los Angeles Fashion Week, which garners a little bit of coverage, sadly… But did you know that there is also Tokyo Fashion Week?!? Bet you didn’t! You know I love Japanese fashion, and that the subtleties and different sub-sets of Japanese Gothic and Lolita Fashion are one of my loves.
I’ve been clicking through the Tokyo Fashion Week slides for a few weeks now (heck, I’m still clicking through the New York Fashion week slides!!!), and these have definitely been some subtle inspiration for the Gothic Lolita Eye Collection that is just waiting in the wings…

Here are some of my favorites from Tokyo Fashion Week. The shows were full of (in my opinion of course!) obvious street fashion influence… and strong Gothic and Lolita flavor. Magnificent!
