New Silk Powder primer

Silk Powder also has many benefits for your skin- most importantly, it is a natural moisture-adjusting product… this means that it can absorb or release moisture as the temperature and humidity changes in your environment. Silk powder also contains amino acids and both reflects and absorbs UV rays.
Our Silk Powder is available in a “20 gram” clear plastic jar with sifter. 1/2 teaspoon samples are available at the bottom of this page.
Ingredients: Silk Powder
Size: “20 gram sifter jar”, approximately 7 grams net wt. Sample baggies: 1/2 tsp.
For those of you who are wearing “Nocturne” during the day (tsk tsk! that’s a lot of Vitamin C ’round the clock, girls!, plus your skin isn’t in the mode to receive the benefits of Nocturne during the day, so it’s kind of a waste… but more on what your skin really does at night in a later blog entry…) this might be something to consider until I complete formulation of my daytime primer powder, which will be released in January. Silk Powder is a great option for those of you who want SIMPLE options for your skin… and several years ago, I sold silk powder (I was going to use it as an ingredient in a foundation formula and ended up not using it, so we sold off the bulk we had imported) and many of you loved what you had purchased… so…

Silk powder is great straight, mixed with mica, illuminator powder,Sunshine Pure hue or Goldenrod Matte for redness, – so many ways to use it. I even mix it in too dark a blush !
I <3 silk powder, this is what i use as my primer and I am SO glad to see you have it now and that there is a primer in the works that includes this! Excited to see it! I love that there are new products coming out regularly!
Jenna, glad you’re enjoying everything and all the new products! Unfortunately, I’ve come out with SO many new products in the last 6 months that I’ve got to slow down for a while… we’ve run out of physical space and, I working 60-some hours a week is killing me! I never feel “well” anymore. But I promise to try to keep things interesting in other ways…

Yep, I do need a holiday! And to pace myself, LOL… 2007 was a year of bad luck and timing with vendors and formulators and staffing that just left me fried. I’m looking forward to 2008- it’s our ten year anniversary year… I’ve got great staff right now- and lots of promoting to do of all of the new products that have just literally all came out all at once! And, I’ve had a spa gift certificate burning a hole in my purse since September 10- I have to use that soon!!!!!
